FAQ

What scale are Libraro’s works?

Libraro creates 1/12 scale wooden miniature furniture.

Are these pieces toys?

No. Libraro’s works are delicate miniature furniture pieces intended for indoor display, collection, and quiet appreciation. They are not toys and are not intended for children or rough handling.

Can they be used with dolls or miniature scenes?

They may be placed in miniature interiors or display settings, but they are created as collectible display pieces rather than play furniture. Please handle them gently and avoid frequent handling.

Where are the works made?

All Libraro pieces are made in Japan.

What materials are used?

Libraro primarily uses selected hardwoods such as American cherry and walnut. The material used for each work is listed on the individual product page.

Are all pieces handmade?

Yes. Each piece is individually handcrafted and finished in small quantities.

Will each piece look exactly the same?

No. Natural variations in wood grain, color, and subtle differences in hand-finishing may occur. These variations are part of the character of handcrafted wooden work.

Do you accept custom orders?

Libraro does not currently accept custom orders. Available works and future releases will be announced through the website and official social media channels.

When will new works be available?

New works are released in small quantities and may not follow a fixed schedule. Release information will be announced on the website and official social media channels.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Libraro ships from Japan using a tracked shipping service, such as EMS or another suitable international delivery method. Available shipping methods may vary depending on the destination country.

Who is responsible for customs duties and import taxes?

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or other fees charged by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Can you mark an order as a gift or declare a lower value?

No. Libraro cannot mark orders as gifts or declare a lower value on customs documents.

How should I care for the piece?

Please keep the piece indoors and avoid direct sunlight, water, high humidity, strong impact, dropping, and extreme temperature changes. If dusting is needed, use a soft brush and handle the piece gently.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and clear photos of the item, packaging materials, and outer box. Please keep all packaging materials until the issue has been reviewed.

Can damaged pieces be repaired?

Repair may be possible depending on the condition of the piece, but it cannot be guaranteed. Damage caused by impact, dropping, outdoor use, frequent handling, or improper storage may not be eligible for free repair. Repair fees and shipping costs may apply.

Why is shipping to the United States higher?

For EMS shipments to the United States, current postal shipping requirements may require customs duties and related processing fees to be prepaid by the sender.

When this applies, the related cost is included in the shipping rate shown at checkout.
